Fantastic food and great staff. The restaurant itself is small and the decor is dated. Be prepared to wait as the food is made from scratch. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. One of the best restaurants in Smiths Falls.

Wonderful!!! Best meals we've had in a LONG time! Our 'waitress' (co-owner) was SO warm and welcoming and made us feel like royalty! She patiently gave us guidance on the menu items as this was our first visit and we were not disappointed. When I tasted the food I was right back in my Grandmother's kitchen! Quaint, cozy atmosphere, a perfect experience from beginning to end! Well worth the drive from Ottawa but you may want to call ahead as it gets quite busy at times.

Love this place, its like finding a diamond in the rough. The food is amazing, I have never been disappointed and the service has always been great. I also appreciate the prices, its so reasonable for such quality meals. My favorite dish, the Gypsy platter, favorite soup Madrid soup, and favorite dessert, definitely the strudel!!

First time at My Place was last night, will definitely be back. Food was excellent, portions were generous. Owner and staff made you feel like you were at home.

I had the Madras soup, it is absolutely delicious!

My wife and i had dinner it was our first time my wife had chicken staganof i had a crepe with spinach ham and cheese with a sauce for dessert we had raspberry strudal all excellent and our waitress was very pleasant and took time to explain the menu Ty it was a great experience

Felt out of place.Manager was walking around, clearly eyeballed my very obviously diverse group of friends. We felt very out of place. Did not smile once. Server was LOVELY, however she took our order and did not return. Ordered Pork Paprikash - pork was hard and dry

You will find a little bit of heaven here at My Place Restaurant. The food is divine. The home made deserts are miraculous. I kid you not. A delightful experience. Enjoy!

Best! honestly the best restaurant in Smith's Falls. Best schnitzel, goulash; the desserts are homemade and if you have room they're delicious. My favourite restaurant.

By a stroke of luck we ended up near Smiths Falls and chose to give My Place a shot. That's it, we're going to be regulars now!Beet salad...best we've ever tasted.Schnitzel...so light and cuts w a fork.Desserts...light Mom made if your Mom were a pastry chef.Don't miss this place.

January 2019 : Back for another family meal at My Place!I tried the Ginger Carrot soup and it had just the right amount of heat and flavour.For my main, I enjoyed the meatloaf - wrapped in bacon! - so tasty!Carrot cake and coffee finished my meal! I had to bring half of my delicious dessert home, but that's OK! I like snacks for later!I added more pictures for you to drool over! Highly recommend My Place!NOV 2018 : We went for a family lunch to My Place - first time for us, second time for those joining us. I enjoyed the Cream of Cauliflower soup, followed by a Smoked Sausage main - oh my! - while everyone else ordered different schnitzel. I sampled from their plates - what tasty flavours all around!We had coffee and dessert afterwards, and were stuffed to satisfaction.

Once again, exceeded my expectations. I had chosen what I wanted to order. The waitress mentioned the specials and I'm glad she did. I tried the Paillard. It was, unknowingly, exactly what I wanted. Brought home dessert for once we have digested and made room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This place was fantastic! Amazing service!!! And the food was divine! We had the soup... worth driving for and the share platter and wrapped up with surprise crepes! Highly recommend. Prices very reasonable for quality and quantity of foodThanks so much!

Excellent dinner experience we had last Sunday. It was our first time there and we had nothing but good things to say about every dish that came. Bohemian chicken was so juicy and the batter was so light and crispy we already missed it during the drive home. Soups were good, dessert was yummy, portion size are large, for sure will go back if we visit Smith falls. Waitress was the nicest lady ever thanks.

This is the best European restaurant we've been too in a long long time! Large portions, lots of choices, fresh food, friendly staff. We will make a special trip just for this food!

It was the only place I could find open on a Sunday in Smith Falls and it was a bit of a hidden gem! Got the bohemian schnitzel and it was delicious. You could hear the chef tenderizing the meat in the kitchen. I was initially put off by the $3 charge for a plate to share with my girlfriend, but it turns out that for $3, they pretty much double your portions. Really excellent value and decent food. Decor is quirky, but not as bad as people say.

Been here multiple times and have always gotten great food at a fair price. The schnitzel and gypsy platter are amazing.

OMG...why haven't I been to this place before! You'd never know by looking at this place that the food would be so amazing, so If you're looking for authentic European food then this is the place for you. The pork paprikash is some of the best I've ever had and the schnitzel looks fantastic. Prices are reasonable and portions are big 👍

We go quite often. The food is fabulous and portion size is large. Made from scratch delicious desserts (large dessert menu board on wall and displayed on counter). Only downside is the few tables right by the door in the winter can be drafty.

Great food and the staff have a good sense of humour. The Madras soup alone is worth the drive to Smiths Falls.

I visited My Place on a Friday at 1pm, and there was nobody there. I thought to myself... "uh oh...". HOWEVER! The food was *excellent* I had the Gypsy Platter (3 Czech Bread Dumplings, Chicken Schnitzel, Roast Chicken strip, sausage, sauerkraut), and my buddy had the Roast Pork with Sauerkraut. He said it was like visiting Prague; I told our hostess that it was like eating at home (I'm Czech). I cannot recommend this place enough!

Very disturbing smell into the restaurant, all meals that we ordered were extremely oily that you can even not get the taste of the foods. Be carefull, they are serving schnitzel and goulash very eastern dishes. They are mostly with heavy and strong tastes.

The best meatloaf I've had. All the meals that other tables had also looked delicious.

Excellent food and prices reasonable. Wish the city had a place like this. Been there 3 times when I was visiting the area.

The food was made fresh. Even though I am not a fan of red meat, I ordered the pork and enjoyed the flavors of it with the sauerkraut. The desserts are quite a masterpiece 😊👍

Never any complaints about the food. The main courses are very good and the deserts are wonderful. It's the service that is unreliable. The staff often talks among themselves and ignores you. Be prepared to wait for your food, even if it's not busy. I've waited fifteen minutes for the menu.

Fantastic homemade European dishes. Portions are generous and service is great. Will definately be visiting again. Check out the apple strudel!
